I currently work for a digital marketing agency making about 95k doing social ads working with medium to large size companies.
I am very grateful for this, but with the way the economy is going and for my own financial goals, I really want to end up making 150k to 200k.
The problem is that the industry has no standardization and so I have no idea where to go, what job titles to apply for, what skills to master, or if I just need to make the jump into leadership.
My main worries/thoughts: While I know Facebook, linkedIn, tiktok, and pinterest. I don’t know Google or Amazon and I’m worried I need to know everything and have all the experience before I can move up.
Are there even jobs out there that will pay more for my technical skills or do I need to jump into leadership to make more? Do I have those skills to make that jump?
Could I make more moving into the tech field and doing more analytic implementation or tracking? Is there actually more money there?
I know this is a lot, but I have no idea who to ask these questions too.
